Modules & Enrolment

The PBC Academy modules were developed to advance knowledge and develop skills in all aspects practice-based commissioning, with the goal of improving services and enhancing health and health care.

Academy Benefits
Learning modules are intended to be quick, focussed, opportunities for commissioning GPs to learn about topics of particular interest.

Participant Requirements
Before taking the module, participants will have the opportunity to assess whether the module will meet their specific needs with self-assessment tools and background information on the material. After the module, tools will be provided to help participants apply and consolidate the material learned.

Learning Modules & Events
Combining modular half-day courses and Web-based learning resources and exercises, the Academy will allow those involved to tailor their training to their own needs and those of their practice, cluster or consortium.
